Great food is a must for a stay in the Countryside. With over 17 years experience of running a restaurant kitchen we are well practiced in delivering it.
Breakfast
Our breakfast options include a number of lighter and healthier options as well as the traditional full english.
Breakfast is available between 7.30am and 9.30am. If you would like breakfast in the lounge please let us know what time you would like to come over.
For room service or for breakfast before 8am we do ask that you pre-order by 10pm the night before (can be placed online or posted through the main door)

We are proud to have received a 5 Star food hygiene rating at every inspection over the past 17 years.
Eating Out
Within a 10min driving distance you will find a selection of restaurants including the Windwhistle Inn, Cricket St Thomas Golf Club and the Tytherleigh Arms.
Venturing into Axminster, Chard or Crewkerne will give you an even bigger choice of places to enjoy.
Takeaways
If you don’t fancy venturing far there are a number of local takeaways (many of which deliver) to enjoy which cater for all tastes. There is a big selection to choose from but some of our favourites are include Boss Hogs, a local business that will deliver everything from pizzas and burgers to jacket potatoes. Cinnamons in Axminster remains our favourite Indian for delivery. And it is well worth the short drive into Chard to pick up a Chinese from Dannys Garden.
